His work is drawn from a longstanding and deep appreciation of the Purbeck coastline and his paintings convey the peaceful serenity of the area which he has been fortunate to grow up in.
Ben prefers using oils and, with his skills gained in his BA Honours in Illustration, paints sketches on location to observe colours and develop a closer affinity with the subject.
